HEAL Ayurveda Wellness provides classical Ayurvedic consultations under the Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) framework, as recognised by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. Our treating physician, Dr. Ravi Apte (MD Ayurveda), holds postgraduate qualification in Ayurveda and is duly registered with the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM).

Patients and visitors to this website are advised to carefully read this disclaimer before using any of our services.

1. Not a Substitute for Emergency Care

This HMS platform, teleconsultation service, and website are designed for non-emergency Ayurvedic consultations only. They are not equipped or staffed for emergency triage or resuscitation.

2. Ayurveda vs. Modern Medicine

An Ayurvedic consultation is complementary and does not replace consultation with a qualified MBBS physician, specialist surgeon, or emergency medicine expert.
For conditions requiring definitive imaging-based diagnosis (CT, MRI, X-ray), surgical intervention, or intensive care, you will be promptly referred to appropriate modern medicine specialists.
HEAL does not discourage modern medicine; we work collaboratively in the best interest of patient health.

3. Individual Results May Vary

Ayurvedic treatment outcomes depend on multiple individual factors, including but not limited to:

Prakriti (constitutional type) — Vata, Pitta, Kapha dominance
Lifestyle, diet, and sleep habits
Severity and chronicity of the presenting condition
Patient compliance with prescribed treatment and regimen
Co-existing health conditions and concurrent medications

4. Drug Interactions & Concurrent Medications

    Mandatory Disclosure: Patients must inform Dr. Ravi Apte of ALL medications and supplements being consumed — including allopathic drugs, homeopathic preparations, nutraceuticals, and herbal products — before or at the start of the consultation.
  

Certain Ayurvedic herbs and formulations may interact with allopathic drugs, including anticoagulants, antidiabetics, antihypertensives, and immunosuppressants. Failure to disclose concurrent medications may compromise your safety and releases HEAL from liability for adverse interactions arising from non-disclosure.

5. Special Populations

The following patient categories must explicitly inform the doctor before or at the very beginning of the consultation:

Pregnant women: Several Ayurvedic herbs and formulations are contraindicated during pregnancy. Panchakarma procedures (particularly Virechana and Basti) are generally contraindicated in pregnancy.
Nursing mothers: Active pharmacological components of certain herbs may pass into breast milk.
Children under 5 years: Paediatric Ayurvedic dosing requires specialised assessment and must be explicitly flagged.
Elderly patients (80 years and above): Altered metabolism, polypharmacy, and frailty require adjusted clinical approach.

6. CCIM Registration & Regulatory Compliance

Dr. Ravi Apte is registered under the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) — Reg. No. 66428, the apex regulatory body for Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Naturopathy in India, established under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.

HEAL Ayurveda Wellness operates in full compliance with CCIM clinical guidelines, the AYUSH Ministry standards, and the Indian Medical Council (Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Ethics) Regulations, 2002 as applicable to AYUSH practitioners.

7. Right to Seek Second Opinion

Patients are encouraged and supported in seeking a second opinion for any serious or complex diagnosis. HEAL Ayurveda Wellness will provide all necessary clinical records, prescriptions, and investigation reports in a timely manner to facilitate such consultations. Seeking a second opinion will not affect the quality of care provided at this clinic.
